Shipping & Fees

SHIPPING INFORMATION 
We are currently offering FREE SHIPPING for all prints. Prints typically ship within a 2-3 week timeframe from the order date. Hand painted prints normally ship 3-6 weeks from the order date. All prints ship UPS Ground Domestic U.S. and arrive within 2-5 business days from the shipping departure date. International orders are shipped via UPS Worldwide Expedited and arrive within 2-5 business days from the shipping departure date. Please note that these durations may not include any delays related to customs clearance, holiday volume, or unforeseen issues due to COVID-19.

Hand painted flags normally ship 3-6 weeks from the order date and ship free via UPS Ground Domestic. For International orders, we ship UPS Worldwide Expedited and the fee will be displayed at checkout based on the delivery address.  

DUTY, TAXES, AND IMPORT FEES 
We've chosen UPS Worldwide Expedited as customs clearance is managed in-house with UPS free of charge. If the customer requests clearance by a third party broker they will be responsible for the additional third party brokerage fees. Customers are responsible for duty, taxes, and import fees based on the shipping address, if applicable. Customers are responsible for all international duty, taxes and import fees, if applicable. These are in addition to, and not included in, the cost of shipping and are incurred at the time of delivery. Please note that your customs agency or UPS may notify you that they are holding your package if duty is due. You should inquire with your local customs agency or your local UPS office for more information and assistance in this area. Returns will not be accepted due to customs fees. We are not able to mark items as “gift”.

DOMESTIC SALES TAX
All orders shipped to addresses in California will be taxed based on the combined city, county and state rate. Customers in other states are responsible for complying with their local state tax laws.

All DOMESTIC U.S. orders: FREE
INTERNATIONAL print orders: FREE
If multiple prints are purchased, they are combined in one tube.
8.5” x 11”: (shipped flat or in a tube if a larger size is also ordered)
16” x 20”: (rolled in tube)
17” x 22”: (rolled in tube)
24” x 30”: (rolled in tube)
30” x 40”: (rolled in tube)
Hand-painted Flags: (rolled in tube)

NOTE: International hand painted flag orders ship via UPS Worldwide Expedited. The fee varies per delivery destination and is calculated at checkout.

INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS
When placing your order, please verify that the shipping address you have provided is correct because if your order is returned to us and needs to be reshipped due to an incorrect address, an additional flat shipping and handling rate of $25 will apply for U.S. orders, and $55 for international orders. If you realize you entered an incorrect address during checkout, please email us within 24 hours of placing your order so that we can update your order with the correct address.

ORDERS RETURNED TO KARE PRINTS BY SHIPPER
If your order is returned to us and needs to be reshipped due to failed attempts by your postal carrier or customs office to contact you or you disregarding postal or customs notices to pick up your package, an additional flat shipping and handling rate of $25 will apply for U.S. orders, and $55 for international orders. 

LOST IN THE MAIL
If you think your order is lost in the mail, please contact us and include your order number and “Lost in Mail” in the subject line. If we determine that your order is lost and that it has not been delivered to the address you provided, we will replace your order.

When placing an order, please review your shipping address to be sure it’s correct. We cannot assume responsibility for shipping charges, additional shipping charges or replacing items that are incorrectly delivered because of an incorrect address entered at the time the order was placed. If an incorrect shipping address is entered into our system and the order is returned to us, we will contact you as soon as possible. If the order needs to be reshipped due to an incorrect address, failed attempts by your postal carrier or customs office to contact you or you disregarding postal or customs notices to pick up your package, an additional flat shipping and handling rate of US$25 will apply for U.S. orders, and US$55 for international orders. If the shipping error cannot be resolved or we don’t hear back from you within 5 business days, we will cancel the order and refund the initial purchase amount minus all shipping and handling charges and a cancellation fee of 25%.

DAMAGED PRINT
We take great care in the packaging and shipping of your prints and books. If your product arrives damaged, please email us within 72 hours of delivery with a photo of the damaged area so that we can review and resolve the matter to your satisfaction. Please include your order number and “Damaged Shipment” in the subject line. Last, please keep your packaging and damaged product as the shipping carrier may request an inspection for claims purposes.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING NOTES
For international orders, we may need to verify additional details regarding billing and shipping information, and may need to place conditions on the method of payment used. We may not be able to fulfill an order if we cannot verify information to our satisfaction. If we require additional information, we will be in contact with you at the email address you provide.
